Restrained Approval of Decorative Porcelain Tiles

This is an argument
with need. Accusatory
theorems dressed
with habanero sauce.
Elevated into the high
rafters of heat,
and left disgruntled
by door knockers,
by emotionally spent
phrases set on repeat.
Slight diffidence can override
desire only in channels of
controlled environments.
You can’t say to it-
I want to be patient-
expecting some considerate
demotion of industrial
adherence to the unquieted
bell ringing of wantonness.
Need is the chime
that cannot stop, can
be momentarily drowned
with cigarette smoke
bowed cellos, arithmetic.
It invariably returns.
Negligent, eccentric,
emissive, demanding.
