Slavica Turinski-Lazić is Croatian poetess, prose writer and painter. She was born in the City of Osijek, Croatia (on the 10 March 1974). In 2012 she has been invited to cooperate in an International-Translation project in which have been translated the songs of Russian music band MKPN (represented Russia on Eurovision Song Contest 2010). In May 2012, in St. Petersburg (Russia) has been published the book of translations „MKPN Songs Translations“ where she participates with seven translations of MKPN songs. In March 2016 the publishing house Nova POETIKA, Belgrade (Republic of Serbia) published her first poetry collection „Rod sumraka“ (Lineage of Twilight, collected by the Serbian National Library, Belgrade). Her sechond and third own poetry collections "Korekcija tuge" (Correction of Sadness) and "Abeceda života" (The Alphabet of Life) are not published yet. Her poems and stories have been published in more than fifteen anthologies in area of ex-Yugoslavia. She is living and working in Slavonia and Baranya (Croatia).
